ICGS Microfilming Project
Under the devoted direction of charter members John and Lynn Castle, twenty four filming projects were produced by the Ingham County Genealogical Society of Mason, Michigan, excluding small town newspapers.
These original source documents were loaned to the society by Ingham County townships, cities and villages and placed onto archival quality microfilm. The microfilms can be viewed at the Ingham County Genealogical Society library or the Library of Michigan.
The total project involved microfilming over 245,000 pages of documents that are now available for genealogical research. The film can be viewed in the society research room in Mason, and at the Library of Michigan in Lansing.
