Oral history is perhaps the oldest family history resource but is also one of the most overlooked.  Dr. Jeff Charnley, Michigan State University Associate Professor Emeritus, will detail what oral history is, the basic steps to conducting an oral history interview and how you can use it in your genealogical research.
