The primary source of information for the burials in this cemetery came from Donna Dansby Heminger's work: "Leroy Township Cemeteries, Ingham County MI Inscriptions and related information" published Oct 2005. Copyright Ingham County Genealogical Society. Sources included cemetery records (c.r.), Obituaries (obit), death records from the Ingham County Clerk' Office (d.r.) and family Bibles (f.b.), burial permits (b.p) and records from Gorsline's Funeral Home in Williamston (Gor).  The dates may or may not appear as they do on the gravestones.  In some cases there may be no gravestone, but the location of the grave is given. There are many conflicting dates and spellings, especially in the cemetery records and obituaries.  No attempt has been made to correct them. The conflicting numbers and letters have been underlined and left to the reader to decide which is correct.
